Ma délután keresgéltem a fotóim között és rátaláltam ezekre a nyári képekre... annyira megtetszett a hangulatuk, hogy elkezdtem retusálni őket. közben álmodoztam a meleg napsütésről... Tudom, hogy még a tél közepén tartunk, de már most nagyon várom a nyarat, mert szeretek kint lenni a szabadban és a vízparton... Addig is nézegetem a tavalyi képeket...


I was browsing my photos this afternoon and came across these summer pictures... I really love their atmosphere so I started to retouch them.
In the meantime I was daydreaming about the hot sunshine... I know it is only the middle of the winter but I can't wait for the summer already. I really enjoy spending time outside and by water... Till the summer starts, I will just look at my photos...

One of my favourite hobbies is photography. I love taking pictures of moments, scenery and people. I could practise this in New York by shooting passerby-s because this city if the home of street fashion...

Travel: Picture of the world...

Cuba, Havanna


Majdnem négy éve nyáron utaztunk Kubában. Nagyon be voltam sózva, hogy mindenképpen látni szeretném a még érintetlen Kubát... Olyan volt, mintha visszamentünk volna az időben.  A gyönyörű régi gyarmati házak és a retro autók fantasztikus látványt nyújtottak. mindenhol tátott szájjal figyeltem az újdonságokat. Erre már csak ráadás volt a karib térség hatása... 

Úgy szeretek ilyenkor télen álmodozni egzotikus helyekről... Sokszor előveszem ezeket a képeket vagy elkezdek újabb helyeket felfedezni a Google earth-ön...



It was almost four years ago when we travelled to Cuba. I was really excited to see the unspoilt Cuba... It was like going back in time. The beautiful, old colonial houses and the retro cars were fantastic. I was gaping at the new things everywhere. The impact of the Caribbean was also amazing above all the others...

I love daydreaming about exotic places in winter... I often look at these photographs or just start to explore new places on Google Earth...

Remembering the moments of the year 2012

Ma nagyon sokat gondolkoztam a tavalyi éven... Felidéztem azokat a fantasztikus élményeket, amiket ti és a blog adtatok. Azt hiszem, a 2012 meghatározó év volt a Festy in style életében, mert 2 éven át tartó szorgalmas postolás elkezdett beérni és sorra jöttek visszajelzések, lehetőségek és együttműködések...

Barátnőmmel, PandArteval egy cuki kampánnyal kezdtük az évet. Azt a jelszót adtuk neki, hogy Keresd a Kitűzőt!. Budapesti design boltokba és kávézókba elrejtettük a blogjaink kitűzőit és akiknek sikerült rájuk lelni, különböző kedvezményekben részesültek. Ezzel a projektel több ezer ember megismerhette a blogjainkat és jobbnál jobb helyeket.

Újból együttműködtem a Marks and Spencer-rel. Ezúttal élet nagyságú Festy képek kerültek az Arena Plázá-ban és az Allee-ban lévő üzleteik kirakatára. Először használt magyar bloggert reklámarcának egy nemzetközi divatmárka. Azt hiszem ez volt az első mérföldkő a blog életében. Ezután folyamatosan jöttek a megkeresések. Maróy Krisztina a Glamour főszerkesztője megjelentette a magazinban is. A blogger barátaim írtak róla. Elkezdet terjedni a hír.

Rendszeresen szerepelhettem divat szakértőként a VIVA tv Interaktív élő műsorában.

Nyáron a Cosmopolitan főszerkesztője Sabján Johanna meghívott egy divateseményre, ahol felajánlotta, hogy találjunk ki valamilyen együttműködést. Először kipróbáltuk a cosmopolitan.hu-n a heti rovatot. Miután kezdtem belejönni kaptam egy saját Cosmo divatblogot is az oldalon. Mára már egy szuper kis csapatban dolgozhatok a Cosmonál az online szerkesztőkkel, Brigivel és Boldival. Jövőre még több közös projektet fogunk kitalálni. Nagyon hálás vagyok Johannának, hogy felkarolt és segíti az utamat...:)

Megkeresett a MOM Park Bevásárlóközpont, hogy működjünk együtt egy közös Facebook kampánnyal, és divattanácsadással, mert beleillik a Festy in style az arculatukba. 

Nyáron látható volt egy streetfashion kiállítás a Kiscelli Múzemban, ahol az egyik outfitem is szerepelt a hippi stílus bemutatásánál. Utána ebből könyvet is adtak ki. Még most se fogom fel, h múzeumi darab lett belőlem, és az egyik szettem archiválták az utókor számára. :) Ezen az eseményen ismerkedtem meg Tatár Csillával, akinek köszönhetem a Tv2 Mokkában való szerepléseimet. 

Őszre elkészült az első kapszula kollekcióm a Süellel. Festy hippi stílusa inspirálta a Süel tervezőjét Csillag Zsuzsit. 

Szeptemberre minden összeállt ahhoz, hogy teljesüljön a legnagyobb álmom a New York Fashion Week-re való kijutás. Ehhez rengeteg tanácsot kaptam Johannától és Steiner Kristóftól. Ebben az évben már rendelkeztem annyi referenciával, hogy esélyem legyen a tervezők meghívására. Sose fogom elfelejteni az a napot, amikor megjött az első meghívó... Itt ugráltam a lakásban és nem akartam felfogni, hogy részt vehetek a világ egyik legrangosabb divateseményén... 

Amikor hazaértem New Yorkból egyből megkeresett az RTL Klub Híradója, hogy adjak nekik interjút. Felfoghatatlan, ahogyan a dolgok bevonznák egymást...


Rengeteg levelet és kedves szót kaptam tőletek, amelyek mindig feltöltenek energiával és lelkesedéssel. 
Nagyon sok mindent köszönhetek Nektek! 
Nélkületek nem működne a Festy in style! 

Egy éve ilyenkor még álmodni se mertem ezekről a dolgokról, amik azóta velem történtek. 
Nagyon kíváncsi vagyok, hogy mit fog hozni a 2013! 
Érzem, hogy izgalmas év előtt állunk...



I have been thinking a lot about last year today... I have recalled those fantastic experiences which you all and the blog have given to me.
I think, 2012 was a determining year in the life of Festy in style as the two years hard-working posting finally brought a result, there were more and more feedbacks, opportunities and cooperations coming...

We started the new year with a cute campaign with my friend, *PandArte*  <http://pandarte.blogspot.hu/>. Its name was "Look for the badge!"
We hid the badges of our blogs in different design shops and cafés in Budapest. Those who managed to find them, received different kinds of discounts. With this project, thousands of people could get to know our blogs and brilliant places around the city.

This time, life-size Festy pictures appeared on the windows of Marks&Spencer shops in Arena Mall and Allee shopping centre. This was the first time that an international fashion brand had used a Hungarian fashion blogger as its face.
I think this was the first milestone in the lifespan of my blog. After this I got one request after the other. Krisztina Maróy, the main editor of Glamour also published it in the magazine <http://www.glamouronline.hu/>. My blogger friends also wrote about it and the news started to spread.

I could regularly participate in the live show of *VIVA tv Interactive* as a fashion expert.

In summer, the main editor of Cosmopolitan <http://www.cosmopolitan.hu/>, Johanna Sabján invited me to a fashion event where she offered me a cooperation. At first we started a weekly section on cosmopolitan.hu. And after I had got the run of it, they gave me an own Cosmo fashion blog as well on the website <http://shoes.blog.cosmopolitan.hu/>. By now, I have been working in a fantastic, little team at Cosmo, with the online editors, Brigi and Boldi. Next year we are planning to find out even more projects together. I am very grateful to Johanna that she has supported and helped me...:)

MOM shopping centre also got in touch with me to collaborate on a Facebook campaign and fashion consulting as it fits into the image of Festy in style.

In summer, there was a streetfashion exhibition in the Museum Kiscelli where one of my outfits were displayed presenting the hippie style. After the exhibition there was a book published about it. I still can't believe that I was one of the exhibits and one of my sets were archived for the after-ages. :) It was on this event that I first met Csilla Tatár <http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tat%C3%A1r-Csilla/194222787258315?fref=ts> who I can thank to for my appearances in Mokka Morning Show on Channel 2.

By fall, my first capsule collection with Süel had been ready. Festy's hippie style inspired the designer of Süel, Zsuzsi Csillag <http://www.suel.hu/suel/>.

Everything was arranged by September to achieve my biggest dream and go to New York Fashion Week. I got a lot of handy advice from Johanna and Kristóf Steiner <http://steinerkristof.com/>. And this year I had enough references to get invited by some of the designers. I will never forget the day when the first invitation came... I was jumping in the flat and couldn't believe that I could attend one of the most prestigious fashion events in the world...

When I got home from New York, the News program of RTL KLUB (market leader commercial television channel) immediately asked an interview from me. It is incredible how things induce each other...

I have received plenty of letters and kind words from you which always fill me with energy and enthusiasm.
I can thank a lot of things to You!
Festy in style couldn't work without You!
A year ago I couldn't have dreamt about the things which are happening to me now.
I can't wait to see what 2013 brings!
I feel that an exciting year is coming on...

Travel: New York selection











Az év utolsó bejegyzésében az egyik legkülönlegesebb utazásomat szeretném felidézni. Kiválogattam pár hangulatos képet az álmok városáról New Yorkról, hogy valamennyire átadjak nektek az élményekből... Ez a város tanított meg arra, hogy nincsenek elérhetetlen dolgok az ember életében... 

Azt hiszem jövőre is sok izgalmas kaland vár ránk, ha velem tartotok és követitek a postjaimat. Hihetetlen érzés, hogy megoszthatom veletek az én kis világomat! Ha csak pár perce is kikapcsolódtok vagy inspirálótok a blog olvasása közben, akkor én már nagyon boldog vagyok!

I would like to recall one of my most special travel experiences in the last post of the year.
I have selected some nice photos of the city of the dreams, New York so I could show you some of this experience... This city has taught me that there are now unachievable things in our lives...

I'm sure that in 2013 a lot of new, exciting adventures will come if you follow my posts. It is an unbelievable feeling that I can share my little world with you! If you can just relax or get inspired for at least a few minutes reading my blog, I am already really happy!

Caffé Torino









Az egyik középiskolai barátnőm pár hónapja valóra váltotta az egyik nagy álmát, hogy egy igazi olasz bárt nyitott a belvárosban. Emlékszem, hogy Anna mindig odavolt az olasz kultúráért. Nem csoda, hogy férje is a nagy csizmáról való, akivel torinói hangulatot varázsoltak a helynek. Az olasz ételek kedvelőit reggeli, ebéd és vacsi várja. Januártól meccseket is lehet nézni mediterrán hangulatban...:)

A csütörtöki napok hihetetlenül népszerűek, mert Aperitivo néven egy pohár koktél vagy ital mellé különféle helyi ételeket lehet kipróbálni. Tudják az olaszok, hogy mi a jó! Vettem is egy pohár bort, ami mellé annyi finomságot kaptam, hogy alig tudtam megmozdulni, úgy tele ettem magam....

One of my high school friends achieved her big dream a few months ago to open a real Italian bar in the city centre of Budapest.
I remember that Anna had always loved Italian culture. No wonder that her husband is also from the "big boot" with whom they created a Torino atmosphere at the new place. The Italian cuisine fans are welcomed with breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can watch football matches too in the Mediterranean atmosphere from January...:)
Thursdays are extremely popular as you can try different local food besides a glass of coctail or drink called Aperitivo. Italian people know what is good! So I bought a glass of wine besides which I got so many nice things that I could hardly move any more...
