Budapest - Callas House

Mindig is szerettem Budapesten turista szemmel járkálni. Egyszerűen imádom felfedezni a város új különlegességeit legyen az egy étterem vagy szálloda. Ez alkalommal egy vadonatúj hotelre sikerült rátalálnom, ahol rögtön el is töltöttem egy éjszakát, hogy saját magam tapasztaljam meg a kiszolgálás színvonalát. 

A Callas név, mint étterem sokaknak ismerősen csenghet, mivel már évekóta az Operaház tőszomszédságában várja az igényes gasztronómiára vágyó vendégeket.

 Mostantól a Callas House szálloda névét is megtanulhatjuk. Az étteremmel egy épületben, az Andrássy úton közvetlenül az Operaház mellett helyezkedik el a felső szinteken. 

Jelenleg hàrom szoba- és egy lakosztály típus közül választhatnak a vendégek. Nekem a lakosztályt volt szerencsém kipróbálni. A nem mindennapi designt David Collins neves lakberendező álmodta meg. Mondanom se kell, hogy különleges esztétikai élmény volt a belépés pillanatától.

Az egyik kedvencem a fürdőszoba volt, ahol egy fárasztó munkanap után egy rózsaszirmos habfürdőt vettem, amit Kleopátra is megirigyelt volna:) Ébredés után pedig ízletes svédasztalos reggelivel indítottam a napot.

Kicsekkoláskor azt is megtudtam, h népszerűségének köszönhetően hamarosan újabb luxus lakosztályokkal bővül a Callas House, ahol még nagyobb méretű szobákban pihenhetnek majd a látogatók.

Én már alig várom, hogy láthassam.

I have always loved wandering around Budapest and having a look at its wonders through the traveller’s eyes. I have a passion for discovering new restaurants and hotels in the city. Last time I found this brand new hotel where I couldn’t resist spending a night and testing its services. The name Callas might sound familiar since the restaurant situated right next to the Hungarian State Opera building bearing this name has long been frequented by seekers of fine culinary experiences.

From now on it is a name to remember by hotel fans, too. Callas House awaits to welcome its guests on the upper floors of the same building next to the opera house on Andrássy Avenue.

You can choose from three different room types and a suite, which I was lucky to stay in. The design is extraordinary, created by renowned interior designer David Collins. Needless to mention it was an amazing experience from the very moment I entered the building.

I was particularly fond of the bathroom, where I could have a luxurious foamy bath with rose petals after a long and hard workday. I don’t think Cleopatra had been treated better : -) After some good sleep I started the following day with a wonderful buffet breakfast.

While checking out I was told that the hotel will soon be extended by more luxury suites due to a high demand so guests will have the opportunity to stay in even larger rooms.

I can’t wait to try them.
