Nice - Hotel Negresco

Hello my dears,

I had long been dreaming of returning to the French Riviera, and luckily enough, this dream came true in an incredibly pleasant way since I stayed at Le Negresco, one of the most iconic hotels in Nice.

As there are direct flights from Budapest, getting there was convenient and inexpensive. There are two flights a week and the fares usually don’t exceed HUF 25.000 per person. The airport serving Nice is very close to the downtown area and for only 6 euros you can get there in 15 minutes by direct buses.

I was given a warm welcome at Negresco and service was excellent from the very first moment of my stay. I had the cutest room on the 4^th floor: it was pink with flowery decorations and it had a view over the sea. I immediately fell in love it it : ))) When I saw the super stylish tub in the bath, I felt the urge to try it at once by having a luxurious bubble bath.

What makes this hotel very special is that its walls are decorated with works of contemporary and renaissance painters’ works - so staying at Negresco you feel like living in a fine gallery! Each room has a unique interior, so if you are lucky enough to come here more than once, you will probably have a completely different room every time. This is one of the many ways Negresco wishes to express that each guest is special. Breakfast was wonderful, served in authentic French style. As I entered the restaurant I felt like stepping into a fairy tale with boxes painted pink and merry-go-round horses standing around. No doubt that staying at the hotel was also a fine culinary bliss! If a real five-star experience is what you look for on Cote d’Azur, certainly Le Negresco is the best you can opt for.
